You Were Made to Shine
There are days when the world feels heavy — when doubt whispers that you are too small, too quiet, too ordinary to make a difference. But God's Word declares something radically different about you.
You are the light of the world.
Not might be. Not could be. You are.
A candle doesn't apologize for its flame. It doesn't shrink back in a dark room and wonder if it has permission to shine. It simply burns — steadily, faithfully, beautifully — and the darkness has no choice but to retreat.
Reflection
Think about the spaces you walk into every day — your home, your workplace, your neighborhood, your social media feed. Each one is a room waiting for light. Your kindness, your faith, your quiet acts of love — these are not small things. They are the flame.
God didn't place His Spirit inside you so you could hide it. He placed it there so the world around you could see Him more clearly.
Prayer
Lord, forgive me for the times I've dimmed my light out of fear or insecurity. Today I choose to shine — not for my own glory, but so that others may see You in me. Use me as your candle in every room I enter. Amen.
