When You're Running on Empty
There are seasons in life that feel like a wasteland. Dry. Barren. Exhausting. You pour yourself out for others, for work, for your family — and somewhere along the way, you find yourself running on empty, wondering if there's anything left.
But Jesus didn't just promise a trickle. He promised rivers.
Not a puddle to survive on. Not a small stream to manage. Rivers — abundant, overflowing, life-giving water that flows from within you.
Reflection
A clock marks time. Every tick is a reminder that this moment matters — that the hours of your day are sacred. But so many of us rush through our days parched, never stopping to drink from the Source that never runs dry.
Jesus is not asking you to produce the water. He is asking you to believe — and He promises that the rivers will flow. Your job is not to manufacture life. Your job is to stay connected to the One who is Life.

Prayer
Jesus, I am thirsty today. I've been running on my own strength and I'm tired. Fill me again with Your living water. Let rivers flow from me — of peace, of joy, of love — so that everyone around me can see that You are my Source. Amen.
